Senior Tools Development Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a creative, and hands-on Senior Tools Development Engineer with a test-to-failure approach. The ideal candidate will build Python-based tests and tools to accelerate test workflows in 3D simulation software, GPU drivers, cloud computing, and AI.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement automated tests for our REST and gRPC APIs covering API functionality, service deployment, and cluster health across distributed environments
• Implement reliable test automation strategies for complex visual verification challenges
• Create test scenarios that simulate real-world user interactions and validate expected outcomes
• Build innovative tools using Generative AI technologies to accelerate development workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements
• Contribute to continuous integration pipelines for automated testing
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams
• Write maintainable, reliable, and well-detailed code. Debug issues to identify the root cause. Provide peer code reviews including feedback on performance, scalability, and correctness
• Optimally estimate and prioritize tasks to create a realistic delivery schedule
• Work closely with leadership to report progress by generating effective and impactful reports

What We Need To See

• 3 years of relevant test automation and development experience with programming experience in Python. Experience with additional languages such as C++, C#, and JS is a plus
• B.Tech. or Equivalent degree in CS/CE/IT/ECE/EEE
• Hands-on experience with API automation testing, including REST and gRPC protocols
• Prior experience with deploying containerization services using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior project experience with building and evaluating applications using Generative AI models
• Experience in deploying and optimizing DL models in production environments
• Proven understanding of test automation principles and patterns
• Strong expertise in Python development and testing frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
