Role : Senior Manager - Testing

Work Location: Pune (Baner ) 5 days WFO

Exp Required : 15 to 20 yrs

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Testing team and projects
  2. Estimate testing effort and time by analyzing project requirements
  3. Estimate resources and budget required to perform testing
  4. Manage testing schedule / calendar
  5. Define and implement Test Strategy
  6. Build and nurture testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation
  7. Identify Training requirements for team members
  8. Develop test plans, dependencies and mitigate the risks to system quality
  9. Obtain stakeholder support for test plan
  10. Develop, maintain test configuration, test bed, etc.
  11. Assign and track task to all Testing Team members
  12. Maintain test documents and structure
  13. Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing
  14. Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report
  15. Attend client calls if required
  16. Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers
  17. Track and maintain requisite test case coverage, required resources, performance baselines etc.
  18. Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones
  19. Prepare / update test metrics at phase end
  20. People skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills
  21. Planning and management skills
  22. Knowledge of the domain, system or application-under-test (desirable)
  23. Experience programming or managing programming teams (desirable)
  24. Training and Mentoring

MANDATORY

· In depth Test Management Experience

· Must have managed a test team of at least 10 people, incl. tem loading, task tracking, budgeting, etc.

· Working with cross-functional teams

· Understanding of Test Metrics analysis and implementing metrics driven strategies

· Defect uncovering and addressing strategies

· Advanced knowledge of Software Testing practices and implementation

· In-depth project testing methods & tools

· Root cause analysis and Fault Analysis

. Defect Analysis techniques at product level

Requirements

1. Experience Range:

· Must have grown from being a tester to a Test Lead and then a Test Manager

· Must have a through and in-depth knowledge of Test Management:

o Test process management

o Test strategy design

o Test improvement

· Rollout Management

2. Managerial:

· Managed a team of 15+ people

· Excellent planning, tracking, deviation control plan

· Excellent communication skill

· Excellent decision making

· Proactive & energized relationship with cross functional teams

· High grade team player

3. Knowledge Domain:

· Project Testing

· Test Management, Plan

· Test Tool implementation

· Test reporting

· Test process anamoly identification and improvement

· e-Governance projects

4. Technical:

· Smoke, Regression, Functional, Performance, Black Box Testing etc.

· Testing of .NET applications

· Testing tools experience

· Tool driven test management

· Tool driven test design

· Basic networking knowledge

· Experience of ERP, SQL Server and IIS

5. Client Management Plan:

· UAT Control Strategy

. Handling emergency client-end bugs
