Senior Test Engineer

Testing Fundamentals & Soft Skills:

• Strong testing fundamentals and soft skills (good to have).
• Ensure successful test case execution, maintaining the organization's quality standards.
• Be a self-contributor while collaborating with other team members and colleagues.
• Well-versed with banking fundamentals and cards/payments domain knowledge or background.
• Knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing.
• Experience working on platforms such as MuleSoft, IBM DataPower, IBM ESB (good to have).
• Interface testing experience.

Test Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain a document repository for all test results and project-level changes.
• Maintain workplace discipline and adhere to organizational standards.
• Design test cases/scenarios as per project requirements.
• Execute the test plan and ensure all activities are completed as scheduled.
• Record defects in the Defect Management Tool.
• Update project progress to stakeholders on a timely basis.
• Retest defects once fixed and ensure proper verification.
• Provide daily reporting to Onsite/Offshore Test Manager.
• Provide status updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to the Test Manager and Project Manager.
