Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (SE) to join our team. As an SE, you will play a key role in developing and implementing software solutions for our projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in backend and frontend technologies, particularly .NET for backend d development and React JS for frontend development. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and prioritize software issues and bugs.
- Design and execute test cases and Test Scopes to verify software product functionality and performance.
- Increase the effectiveness and accuracy of testing procedures, and create and manage automated test scripts.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and potential issues.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate findings to development teams.
- Good hands on experience in retesting and writing defects steps and providing relevant evidence.
- Work with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Keep up with the latest software testing and quality assurance developments, including industry best practices.
- Attend the Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning and Retrospective Meetings.
- Update and share Daily and Weekly status reports.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in software Testing, with hands-on expertise in Functional, Mobile and API Testing and at least 1 programming language (JavaScript).
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Test Engineer:
Primary Skills:
- Manual Testing: Understanding different testing methodologies, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Automation Testing: Proficiency in using automation tools like Selenium, QTP, or Test Complete for scripting and executing automated tests. (Good To have)
- Programming Skills: Hand-on with languages like JavaScript, JavaScript, or Python to write the test scripts. (Good To have)
- Database/SQL: Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data and test databases.
- API Testing: Knowledge of testing web services and APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Understanding of Swagger
- Version Control: Understanding of tools like Bitbucket or Git to manage and track code versions.
- Testing Tools: Ability to use tools like JIRA, Test Management tool- TestRail/Qmetry.
