Role Summary
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Java programming for UI automation and hands-on experience in API automation. The candidate should have experience with Selenium, RestAssured, test planning, automated testing, continuous integration, Agile Scrum, and system-level testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Develop and execute API automation using RestAssured.
- Prepare and execute test plans.
- Perform automated testing and system-level testing.
- Support continuous integration activities.
- Work within an Agile Scrum development environment.
- Analyze test results and report defects as required.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure effective test execution.
Must-Have Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in Java programming for UI automation.
- 1+ years of experience in API automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with RestAssured.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Experience in test plan development and automated testing.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development lifecycle.
- Experience in system-level testing.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
