Role Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with expertise in the finance domain, specifically in SWIFT testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SWIFT message types, financial transactions, and testing methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Test Development:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SWIFT applications and related financial systems.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of SWIFT messaging systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated test cases and analyse results to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
- Ensure all software releases meet the highest quality standards by performing thorough testing.
- Documentation:
- Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing.
- Maintain detailed and organized test documentation and reports for reference.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SWIFT messages and web application testing.
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, specifically using Selenium and Python.
- Experience with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Prerequisites
Qualification - BE/B Tech Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a test automation engineer.
Base Location: Noida, but flexible to travel.
