Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Test Development:
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SWIFT applications and related financial systems.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of SWIFT messaging systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
• Test Planning and Execution:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated test cases and analyse results to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
• Ensure all software releases meet the highest quality standards by performing thorough testing.
• Documentation:
• Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing.
• Maintain detailed and organized test documentation and reports for reference.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SWIFT messages and web application testing.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
