Senior Test Engineer

Responsible for designing, executing, and automating complex multi-feature test scenarios that validate real-world customer deployments. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable networking software through deep feature interaction testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect multi-feature and cross-technology test solutions based on real customer deployment scenarios
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end test strategies and detailed test plans for complex networking features
• Build realistic test topologies that replicate production-scale customer environments
• Perform manual exploratory testing to identify defects, integration issues, and unintended feature interactions
• Automate integration and feature interaction test cases using Python-based frameworks such as PyTest
• Analyze test results, logs, and traffic patterns to debug issues across control plane and forwarding plane
• Validate routing, VPN, multicast, security, telemetry, and QoS features in large-scale network environments
• Use traffic generators such as Spirent and Ixia for performance, scale, and interoperability testing
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks, reusable libraries, and validation pipelines
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to align test coverage with product and release goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering field
• 710 years of experience in networking test engineering or quality engineering
• Strong hands-on experience in automation with Python
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and architectures
• Experience in large-scale system testing and integration testing
• Networking certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIP, or JNCIE are an advantage

Technical Expertise

• Routing technologies including MPLS, SR-MPLS, and SRv6
• VPN technologies such as L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN-MPLS, and EVPN-VXLAN
• Multicast and Multicast VPN testing
• Security features including MACSEC and firewall filters
• Ethernet OAM protocols and Class of Service implementations
• Telemetry and monitoring using sFlow, JFlow, OpenConfig, and SNMP
• Strong knowledge of control plane and forwarding plane behavior
