Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead test execution for end-to-enddata migration,ETL, anddata transformationprocesses during SIT.
- Provide support forUAT,Parallel Runs, andProduction deployments.
- Validatedata accuracy,schema mapping, andconsistencyacross source and target systems.
- Execute performance andregression testingto verify platform scalability and migration stability.
- Build and maintainautomation test scriptswhere applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingdevelopers,data engineers, andcloud architects, to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Align testing goals with business and project stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates on testing progress, defect reports, and risk assessments.
- Continuously drive improvements in testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills Qualifications
- 10+ yearsof experience in software testing, including3+ yearsindata migration projects.
- Proven expertise incloud data platformssuch asDatabricks,BigQuery,Snowflake,Synapse, orRedshift.
- Familiarity with legacy platforms likeHadoop,Teradata, andSAP BW.
- Strong hands-on experience withETL validation,data reconciliation, andperformance benchmarking.
- Proficiency inSQL,Python, and other scripting languages for test automation and data validation.
- Experience with tools likeSelenium,PyTest,JMeter, and data quality tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g.,AWS,Azure,GCP) or testing standards (e.g.,ISTQB).
- Familiarity withAgile methodologies,JIRA,Confluence, andCI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding ofDataOpspractices and modern testing workflows.
