Job Description

Job Title: Automation Tester - Insurance Domain

Years of Experience: 5+ years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automation testing, with the ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team to ensure the quality and reliability of our insurance software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for insurance applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience in automation testing, specifically with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance domain and its specific testing requirements.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in automation testing (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
