Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automation testing, with the ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for insurance applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in automation testing, specifically with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of the insurance domain and its specific testing requirements.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in automation testing (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
