Key Responsibilities
Role Overview
As a Senior Test Automation Lead at Parle Biscuits, he/she will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise applications and digital platforms. He / She will design and implement robust automation frameworks for SAP, web, mobile, and API testing, supporting our agile delivery model and cloud-first strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Test automation frameworks for SAP S/4 (including IBP), SAP BTP, web, and mobile applications.
- Automate functional, regression, and integration tests using Tricentis Tosca for SAP and enterprise applications.
- Create and manage Tosca test cases, modules, reusable components and Test Scripts for end-to-end business processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP, Salesforce, Data Analytics) to define test strategies and ensure coverage.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce best practices in automation.
- Ensure compliance with Parles security and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Tricentis Tosca for SAP and enterprise application automation:
- Experience in Model-Based Test Automation using Tosca.
- Hands-on with Tosca Commander, TestCase Design, and ExecutionLists.
- Knowledge of Tosca API Scan for API testing.
- Proficiency in Java or Python for custom automation scripting.
- Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and API testing tools.
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and TestNG/JUnit.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and QA processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred
- Exposure to performance testing (JMeter).
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure) and containerization (Docker).
- Experience in data validation for analytics platforms (Databricks, Data Lakehouse).
