Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework, Python, and Pytest. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and executing automation strategies and should be capable of taking on a test lead role when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
- Design robust test strategies and frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance automation processes and frameworks.
- Adhere to industry best practices in test automation.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation into the development lifecycle.
- Utilize various test automation tools and frameworks as needed.
- Apply knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies in day-to-day tasks.
- Experience in the Medical domain is preferred.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Core Technical Skills:
- Python (Mandatory): Syntax, OOP concepts, libraries (e.g., requests, unittest)
- Robot Framework (Mandatory): Custom keyword creation, resource file management, reporting
- Pytest (Mandatory): Test case development and execution
- API Testing: REST APIs, Postman, RequestsLibrary, authentication, schema validation
- UI Testing: Selenium, locators, waits
Additional Skills (Good to Have):
- IoT Testing: Device communication, protocols (MQTT, CoAP), edge case handling
- Okta Authentication Testing: SSO, OAuth flows, token validation, MFA scenarios
- AI/ML Integration: Test generation, automation integration
