Senior Test Automation Architect

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project architecture and define QE strategy aligning with Alpheya and RBC standards
• Lead test automation initiatives using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Provar, RestAssured)
• Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
• Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD testing practices and shift-left testing
• Define and implement performance, security, and integration testing strategies
• Evaluate opportunities to integrate Gen AI into QE processes test case generation, self-healing tests, intelligent defect triaging, etc.
• Contribute to RFP and proposal efforts from a QE standpoint
• Mentor junior testers and ensure consistent QA best practices

Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and test architecture
• Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker
• Familiarity with Gen AI trends in QE space is a plus
• Domain experience in Wealth/Banking is preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skill
