Senior Tendering and Estimation Engineer

Role: Sr. Engineer – Tendering & Estimation (Electrical)

Location: Noida, India (On-Site)

Experience: 5+ Years

Compensation: Up to INR 30 LPA

We are looking for a skilled Tendering & Estimation Engineer to lead techno-commercial tendering, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation for utility-scale Solar PV, Rooftop Solar, BESS, and Substation projects.

Key Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Tendering & Estimation for Solar and Power projects

Strong experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and rate analysis

Hands-on experience with Solar PV, BESS, and EHV Substation projects up to 220kV

Knowledge of technical specifications, SLDs, layouts, and electrical systems

Experience in vendor RFQ management and techno-commercial evaluations

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools

Understanding of contracts, tendering procedures, and commercial terms

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Role Responsibilities:

Lead BOQ preparation and cost estimation for Solar PV, BESS, and Substation projects

Perform CAPEX estimation including materials, engineering, logistics, erection, testing, and commissioning

Analyze tender specifications, drawings, and project scope

Coordinate with Engineering teams for technical inputs and system sizing

Float RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and finalize cost inputs

Develop rate analysis for key electrical equipment and systems

Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions

Conduct bid risk assessments and identify cost optimization opportunities

Support pre-bid meetings and client clarifications

Collaborate with SCM, Finance, and Project teams for cost validation and bid success
