Role Description

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technology Program Director to lead and oversee our technology programs and initiatives within Deutsche Bank's Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) division. This technology role will support the Bank's Global Procurement and Global Real Estate business functions.
- As the Senior Technology Program Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of complex and strategic technology projects. You will be responsible for providing strong leadership, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the effective execution of technology programs in alignment with our business objectives.
- In addition, this role will have local people management responsibilities within our Pune, India office.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall technology program strategy, in line with the company's vision and goals as well as business objectives.
- Oversee the entire program lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Provide direction, guidance, and mentoring to project managers and other team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology program team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technology and business stakeholders including senior level executives
- Manage external partners and vendors that are required throughout the program lifecycle
- Regularly communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and buy-in.
- Allocate resources efficiently across various technology projects to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to identify and onboard top talent when necessary.
- Monitor and manage the program budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact program success.
- Implement risk management strategies and contingency plans to address challenges as they arise.
Performance and Quality Assurance:
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program performance and success.
- Conduct regular evaluations to ensure program adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Implement lessons learned and feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain program governance frameworks to promote accountability and efficiency.
- Manage and develop technology resources based in our Pune India office
- Ensure cross team collaboration across the Deutsche Bank franchise
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Technology Program Director or in a similar senior technology management role, with a track record of successful program delivery within the Procurement functional area (at least 10 years of IT program management experience and 15 - 20 years of overall technology implementation experience).
- Specific program management experience with third party Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and/or Process Orchestration and AI enabled solutions is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile frameworks, and technology development lifecycles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Certifications such as PMP or ScrumMaster are a plus.
