Senior Technician

Roles and Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation & Monitoring

• Operate and monitor plant machinery, equipment, and systems efficiently.
• Identify operational issues and take corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure optimal performance of equipment to meet production targets.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement timely solutions.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and calibration of new machinery.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and incidents.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance, downtime, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory documentation standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols and statutory regulations.
• Conduct periodic inspections and risk assessments to ensure a safe work environment.
• Promote adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the team.

Team Coordination & Support

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to maintain smooth operations.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in emergency response and problem-solving during critical situations.

Education:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics
• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics/Telecommunication (preferred)
