Senior Technical Writer (with Docs-as-Code Experience) – Bengaluru/Mumbai - Hybrid

Role Overview

Aleido India is looking for a Senior Technical Writer with a strong background in telecommunications and hands-on experience in a Docs-as-Code environment. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality documentation for complex systems and technologies, while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, product management, and customer success teams.

This position is ideal for you if you thrive in complex, engineering-driven environments and are comfortable working at the intersection of telecom and modern documentation practices. The role demands both technical depth and strong collaboration skills to ensure documentation aligns with evolving product and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and maintain technical documentation
• Translate complex telecom concepts into clear, user-centric documentation.
• Work within a Docs-as-Code framework using tools such as Markdown, Git, static site generators, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage version-controlled documentation repositories and ensure alignment with software release cycles.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, QA, and support teams to gather requirements and validate technical accuracy.
• Drive documentation planning as part of product development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum).
• Facilitate reviews and incorporate feedback from subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all documentation assets.
• Identify gaps in documentation and proactively address them.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with significant exposure to telecom technologies.
• Strong understanding of telecom domains especially 5G technologies.
• Proven experience working in a Docs-as-Code environment (Git, Markdown, static site generators like Hugo, MkDocs, or similar).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
