Senior Technical Writer

You will be responsible responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews and assessments of technical documentation, ensuring it meets established quality standards, working under limited supervision. The role maintains clear communication channels with stakeholders, ensures alignment of project objectives and expectations throughout the project lifecycle. The role serves as a mentor and resource for junior technical writers, providing guidance and support for their professional development. The role conducts thorough analyses of technical data, and employs Root Cause Analysis methodologies to effectively address moderate scope problems. The role develops and maintains technical documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards and organizational protocols.

Your Role:

  • Author and maintain content using structured authoring tools (DITA/XML) such as PTC Arbortext
  • Work within PLM‑based documentation environments (e.g., Windchill), ensuring version control and configuration compliance
  • Own and deliver MR service documentation across New Product Introduction (NPI), Lifecycle Management (LCM), and change‑driven updates
  • Translate complex technical, system, and service inputs into clear, structured, and user‑focused documentation
  • Ensure documentation is delivered in line with project milestones, release planning, and service readiness needs
  • Maintain accountability for assigned documentation scope from intake through publication
  • Act as the primary documentation contact for assigned programs and stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation complies with QMS, regulatory, and internal quality standards
  • Identify documentation risks early (scope gaps, unclear ownership, review delays) and escalate appropriately
  • Perform editorial and peer review activities to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes and standards

You are fit if:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Technical Writing or equivalent

  • Structured authoring and XML‑based documentation
  • PLM systems and controlled documentation environments (e.g., Windchill)
  • Strong written communication and editorial skills
  • Stakeholder coordination and review facilitation
  • Quality‑driven and risk‑aware documentation delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel priorities with minimal supervision
  • Broad technical knowledge of medical devices/products is a plus

How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
