Senior Technical Support Engineer - OSS/BSS

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technical Support Engineer with strong expertise in Linux/UNIX systems, Kubernetes, and Shell scripting, along with hands-on experience in telecom protocols and online charging systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, handling incidents, and supporting business-critical applications in a high-availability environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support forOnline Charging Systems (OCS)and related telecom infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related toHTTP2/REST, Diameter, and SS7 protocols.
• Performpreventive health checks, monitornetwork stability, and ensure optimal system performance.
• Handleincident management, including hot and critical issues, and performKPI and traffic analysis.
• Configure and maintainbusiness/tariff productsand ensure accurate deployment.
• Work collaboratively with a team of skilled engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Participate in24/7 shift rotations, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge ofLinux/UNIX systemsandShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience withKubernetesand containerized environments.
• Good understanding ofHTTP2/REST APIs,Diameter, andSS7protocols.
• Experience in acustomer support environment, preferably in telecom or network services.
• Familiarity withincident, problem, and configuration managementprocesses.
• Proficient inCouchbase,Elasticsearch, andKafka.
• Stronglogical and analytical skillswith the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellentverbal and written communication skillsin English.
• Willingness tolearn new technologiesand stay updated with industry trends.
• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in the above areas

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience withmonitoring toolsandlog analysis platforms.
• Exposure toDevOps practicesandCI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge ofcloud platforms(AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
