Job Title: Senior Technical Support Engineer (Bangalore)
Role Overview
This is a non-traditional support role requiring deep technical expertise and end-to-end ownership of complex production issues across SQL, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and resolve P0P2 production incidents (query failures, performance issues, platform stability)
- Debug issues across SQL, query engines, infrastructure, and storage layers
- Analyze query performance, execution plans, and resource utilization
- Work with cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes) and distributed systems
- Build automation scripts/tools using Python or Bash
- Collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to runbooks & improvements
Required Skills
- Experience Required - 4-8 years
- Advanced SQL (joins, window functions, query optimization, debugging)
- Experience with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Trino/Presto, BigQuery, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud & infrastructure (AWS, S3, EC2, Kubernetes)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
- Scripting experience (Python/Bash)
