Job Description
As a Senior Technical Specialist, you need to have a high level of proficiency and understanding in IP-based fixed access networks, encompassing both Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols. Leveraging this expertise, the individual will be responsible for conducting thorough architecture and design analyses tailored to specific customer requirements. A critical component of the position involves gaining a deep understanding of real-world customer deployments. This insight is then actively incorporated as valuable feedback into the development of new and existing features. Furthermore, success in this role necessitates close collaboration within and across various teams and Business Units. This collaborative effort, extending to Product Management, ensures the joint delivery of high-quality products and innovative solutions.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

- Contribute to product architecture by quickly prototyping and validating design approaches to align with evolving product requirements.
- Design and develop solutions using advanced technologies such as Java/J2EE, Microservices, Kubernetes, and SDN.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and refine the development process.
- Contribute to test design, test bed setup, execution, and reporting, ensuring product quality through various software testing methodologies.
- Gain hands-on experience working in a cloud-based, CI/CD, and DevOps environment, optimizing the development lifecycle.
- Leverage experience with broadband solutions (DSL/PON) and networking protocols like SNMP and Netconf to build efficient and scalable systems.
Key Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 12 to 15yrs years of relevant experience in SW development.
- Proficient in C, C++ with Datacomm/ Networking, Java with networking, NMS/EMS (for SW)
- Proficient in clean coding, debugging and problem solving
- Familiar with OO design is preferred
- Familiar with multi-core, multi-process, multi-thread programming
- Familiar with network protocol, L2/L3 packet forwarding is preferred
