Senior Technical Specialist

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will lead and contribute to the development of Network Management solutions for Optical Transport technologies, including Photonic/WDM, SDH/SONET. You will bring expertise in React and UI development, along with knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Kafka, Hibernate, Python, RDBMS, and Linux. Experience with continuous integration, agile practices, and Optical Transport Network (OTN) management will be a strong advantage. Your ability to self-organize, innovate, and balance high-paced development activities will make a meaningful impact on the team and product success.

You have:

• Bachelor s degree 8- 12 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in React and other UI development technologies is mandatory.
• Proficiency in continuous integration and Agile practices.
• Working knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Kafka, Zookeeper, Hibernate, Python, RDBMS, PL/SQL, Linux, Docker, and database concepts is a plus.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Domain knowledge in OTN and Photonic network management is an added advantage.
• Experience in development activities, including requirement analysis, design, coding, and unit testing, is required.
• Manage of Optics Division products, including Photonic/WDM, Optical Transport, and SDH/SONET.
• Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Strong mentoring skills to guide junior developers while excelling at execution.
• Motivation for high-quality software development in challenging, geographically distributed environments.
• Balanced and composed individual, capable of handling high-paced development activities with strong self-organizing skills.
