How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

Senior Technical Specialist – work hand in hand with the Material Planning analytics and reporting team on developing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards, reporting, and department analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, enhance, and develop new reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct code audits to optimize existing coding logic.
  • Migrate SQL program codes to Python coding structure.
  • Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers in the Analytics and Reporting team within the Material Planning Department.
  • Document coding structures in GitHub and create technical SOPs for existing and new tools.
  • Test dashboards, reports, and coding logic prior to production deployment.
  • Ensure clear communication of project timelines, milestones, and breakdowns.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Industrial engineering, computer science, computer engineering degree or equivalent.
  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience relative to analytics and coding
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the airline industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office for daily operations.
  • Programming Expertise: Experience in SQL coding and Python coding, as our current reporting is in SQL and will transition to Python.
  • Data Visualization: Knowledge of Power BI and Power Apps to build and maintain user dashboards.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with AWS, as our servers are migrating from Teradata to AWS.
