Job Title: Sr. Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a results driven Sr. Technical Sales Engineer to expand our market presence in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven sales expertise to manage key accounts, develop new business, and provide effective sales technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities by targeting OEMs, end users, system integrators, traders, and consultants.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by offering technical support, recommending solutions, and guiding product trials.
  • Analyse the industrial market to enhance product acceptability through trials on OEM machines or panels, securing orders via channel distributors.
  • Participate actively in exhibitions in Karnataka region as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Manage dealer and trader channels within the assigned region.
  • Get products approved in private consultant space & government companies.
  • Recommend product upgrades or improvements to the company design team based on industry observations and customer feedback.
  • Identifying new products or ideas by staying informed on current industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports summarizing visits and key insights.
  • Ensure high-quality service standards and contribute to achieving sales targets while resolving customer issues and promoting new products.

We are seeking candidates with a B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, IC or Instrumentation, with relevant experience in sales of Process Instruments and Automation. Strong understanding of business and sales processes, excellent networking and presentation skills, ability to develop positive relationships, effective communication, as well as a self-starter mentality and good teamwork, are essential.
