Role Description

Meeting sales numbers quarter by leading the entire sales process from Enquiry generation, order conversion and be a single point of contact for customer issues till installation and commissioning.

Assess the market potential from time to time and create specific strategies for selling of Food equipment solutions

Lead efforts with marketing partners in creation of brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, webpages etc from time to time/Participating in exhibitions/ seminars.

Pursuing those enquiries systematically and convert them into orders through various approaches

Maintain Connect with consultants, R&D persons, Production and operation people in customer place, develop rapport and position our solutions appropriately.

Be a single point key accounts person for the customer pre and post order and resolve issues on payments, delivery, technical issues

Work closely with regional teams and facilitate progress in orders

Providing technical support to Application team.

Leading food application demonstrations and customer trials (This will require machine refurbishment and the purchase of some peripherals).

Engaging in process and product innovation activities, potentially leading to patents and publications to enhance Steer's visibility in the food market.

Collaborating with the design team to develop extruder peripherals commonly used in the food industry, such as preconditioners, die face cutters, die plates, etc.

Working with the advanced design team to introduce technological interventions for disruptive innovations in food processing through TSE.

Qualifications

B.E / B.Tech / ME/M. Tech/Ph.D in Food processing/ Chemical/Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering from reputed colleges.

Minimum of 60% marks aggregate

3-10 years of Experience in industry out of which minimum 5 years of Food equipment Sales experience.

.Willingness to travel extensively in domestic and international locations (60-70% travel is a part of the role)
