About the Team
The Talent Acquisition team at Chargebee works closely with the business to understand, identify, and pipeline the highest-quality talent in the market for every role. We operate as strategic partners to our stakeholders, combining deep market insight with a strong candidate-first mindset to build teams that scale with the business. We are a globally distributed Talent Acquisition team, with recruiters in the US and India, partnering with teams to support hiring across global markets.
About the role (Job Summary)
As part of this team, you will primarily support Product, Engineering, and Technology hiring, working alongside hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, success profiles, and long-term team needs. While the core focus is on technical roles, you may also occasionally support hiring across functions, as business needs evolve.
What you'll do (role and responsibilities)
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for Product, Engineering, and Technology roles, from role intake through offer closure.
- Partner with hiring managers to conduct detailed intake meetings, define success profiles, and create high-quality job descriptions and interview scorecards.
- Lead hands-on sourcing for technical roles using LinkedIn, GitHub, X-ray searches, and professional networks and AI-powered sourcing tools.
- Ensure roles are published on the most relevant channels to maximize reach within the tech talent market.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of product and engineering talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess technical capability, problem-solving skills, and role alignment.
- Present well-evaluated candidate shortlists with clear insights and recommendations to hiring managers.
- Manage interview scheduling and logistics, including in-person interviews and hiring drives, to optimize time-to-hire.
- Provide recruitment support for GTM ((Sales, Marketing, Presales, Customer-facing roles) and Support roles as business priorities may require.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress, stakeholder interactions, and recruiting activity using internal systems.
What you'll bring (required skills and experience)
4+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience, with a strong focus on Product, Engineering, and Technology roles in a product or SaaS environment.
- Working knowledge of Sales and GTM hiring, with the ability to support sales-facing roles when required.
- Strong hands-on sourcing expertise, including LinkedIn, GitHub, X-ray searches, networking platforms, and talent communities.
- Solid understanding of the technology talent market, hiring trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Experience across the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake, sourcing, screening, assessment, stakeholder management, and offer discussions.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Nice to have (preferred)
- Education: Engineering or MCA background is good to have, but not mandatory.
- Experience using AI-powered hiring and sourcing tools, automation, or modern recruitment technologies to improve sourcing efficiency, candidate quality, and time-to-hire.
