Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects spanning web, full-stack, cloud-native, and SaaS-based platforms (Salesforce, Oracle ATG, Oracle Cloud). You will manage end-to-end project execution, working closely with technical architects, engineers, and business stakeholders. A fair understanding of modern and enterprise technologies is essential, along with proven experience delivering SaaS and Oracle-based solutions in agile or hybrid delivery models. You will also have a conceptual understanding of these technologies; handson experience is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Own end-to-end project delivery for web, cloud-native, and SaaS-based applications (Salesforce, Oracle ATG, Oracle ERP/Cloud), from initiation to closure.
- Define and manage project scope, milestones, deliverables, resource plans, and success metrics (KPIs/OKRs).
- Develop and maintain realistic project schedules using tools like MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Estimate project costs (labor, infrastructure, SaaS subscriptions, third-party integrations) and manage project budgeting & forecasting.
- Track actual vs. planned budget, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Proactively monitor project health using dashboards, burn-down charts, velocity tracking, and earned value management (EVM).
- Establish clear governance frameworks for status reporting, change control, and escalation management.
- Identify, assess, and maintain a live risk register – technical risks, integration risks, SaaS vendor risks, resource risks – with mitigation plans.
- Drive proactive issue tracking and resolution, ensuring blockers are removed before they impact timelines.
- Manage change requests (scope, schedule, cost) through formal change control processes.
- Conduct phase-gate reviews, milestone sign-offs, and Go/No-Go decisions.
- Facilitate lessons learned and post-implementation retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage customer expectations through regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and transparent communication.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted delivery partner.
- Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) where applicable.
- Manage trade-offs between schedule, quality, scope, and budget in collaboration with technical architects and product owners.
- Effective people manager who motivates and drives teams to achieve success.
Agile & Hybrid Process Management
- Facilitate agile (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid (agile + waterfall for SaaS) ceremonies.
- Use tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, or Salesforce DX / Oracle Developer Cloud.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes across blended teams.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across technical and business units.
- Translate technical and SaaS platform constraints into business-friendly language.
- Manage expectations, escalate risks, and drive decisions across multiple delivery partners.
- Conduct regular customer health checks and satisfaction surveys.
Governance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security guidelines, and compliance (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).
- Coordinate QA strategies including unit, integration, performance, and SaaS-specific regression testing.
- Conduct phase-gate reviews, Go/No-Go decisions, and post-implementation retrospectives.
Required Project Management Skills
- 8–12 years of IT experience, with 4+ years as a Technical Project Manager delivering:
o Web / full-stack / cloud-native projects AND
o SaaS-based applications (Salesforce, Oracle ATG, or Oracle Cloud)
- Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid (agile + waterfall) methodologies.
- Proven expertise in project budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with risk management, change control, and proactive tracking (EVM, burn-
- downs, dashboards).
- Strong customer management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Track record of delivering SaaS, enterprise, or cloud-native applications to production within budget and schedule.

- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe Agilist
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Project Manager
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations or Oracle ATG certification
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect – Associate
- Experience managing distributed/offshore teams and SaaS vendor co-delivery.
- Background in pre-sales, proposal creation, or client-facing delivery for SaaS + custom cloud solutions.
- Exposure to DevSecOps, compliance (SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS for Oracle ATG e-commerce).
