This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner (AWS/Data Background) in India.
In this role, you will drive the execution of complex data-driven products, bridging business needs and technical implementation across global teams. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and client services teams to define product requirements, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of high-value features. This position offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives, and optimize user experiences through data insights. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment with globally distributed teams, engaging directly with clients to align product solutions to their strategic goals. Accountabilities
- Define, document, and prioritize user stories, epics, and features aligned with product strategy and client objectives
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to refine backlog and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Lead planning and execution of sprint cycles, facilitating ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner with design and research teams to conduct user interviews, A/B tests, and usability assessments, translating insights into actionable improvements
- Support continuous improvement of team performance, dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration
- Communicate product status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency
- Collaborate with internal teams including Data Governance, Information Security, Marketing, Legal, and Risk Management to capture requirements and ensure compliance
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Scrum Product Owner
- 3+ years of experience working with technical teams and subject matter experts
- 5+ years of consulting or service delivery experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data engineering concepts
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based data solutions
- Proven track record with Agile methodologies and backlog management
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to engage clients and technical teams
- Familiarity with requirement analysis, documentation techniques, and test plan creation for complex data workflows
- Ability to manage complex tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
