Primary Responsibilities:

  • Full product lifecycle management, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products, for a sizable product or a group of products (SaaS Product)
  • Contribute towards Product Value definition activities including Product Vision and Goal statements, working closely with Business & Technology partners
  • Engage with Business, Marketing & Product teams to understand the context and synthesized market needs that drive Product features and business outcomes, i.e., taking into consideration consumer experience, financial impact & competitive analysis
  • Participate and contribute towards Product Discovery and PMC discussions, to help business and Product teams review business, market & client requirements, & define Product roadmaps/timelines and financials/budgets for the Product(s)
  • Develop viewpoint on shaping the product direction and roadmap. Leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings
  • Deliver product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs. Accountable to and/or own the P&L
  • Work with Business Leads and Engineering Leads to ensure OKR's are created and measured. Contributes to improvement of user and customer metrics such as NPS
  • Align with Consumer experience teams to ensure excellent end user experience through digital products development/delivery, by helping them drive design thinking, consumer journey mapping, incorporating modern technology & innovative solutions
  • Partner to manage product portfolio budget and proactively monitor and communicate costs, fees, etc.]. Influences Definition of Done and ensures it is clearly understood and articulated to the stakeholders
  • Product Backlog definition, prioritization & refinement working closely with other Product Owners, Solution architects, Release management teams and other business and technology teams - to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy
  • Define Minimum Viable Product needed for new capabilities, and draw on an agile mindset: implement the minimal scope that could possibly stand on its own, and rapidly iterate and evolve it based on user and market feedback
  • Lead and work within agile development teams to identify and support core competencies and key features and functions. Clearly articulate product vision, strategy and roadmap to engineering team effectively as and when needed
  • Support various engineering and project management functions by acting as a liaison between business, product, and development teams to help reduce redundant efforts, increase reuse of existing components, and identify opportunities during design to ensure components are built in such a way as to support external marketability
  • Identify relevant data to build compelling business case in self-directed manner
  • Seek to learn the business you are supporting and own its evolution holistically. Drive to understand the What and Why and connect the benefit to technology to the business capability and be able to clearly articulate this to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Communicate with purpose and influence stakeholders. Build relationships with all senior stakeholders (up to / including Director, Sr. Directors) across product teams and Market Segments
  • Utilize influencing skills to build a collaborative culture and foster relationships with strategic partners with focus on innovation, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level product professional staff. Coach multiple teams at one time while working with a variety of products
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Engineering Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Identity Access Management domain as a Developer/ Tester/ Product Owner or implementor for industry products like Okta, Ping Identity etc. OR Product Manager coming from development background who has worked on integrating with Identity Solutions (OIDC flow, SAML/OAuth Protocol, API security etc.)
  • Experience in gathering market insights, analysis competitive landscape and recommend product strategy across the product lifecycle
  • Experience in building consumer facing digital products from inception to launch
  • Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle/Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Solid experience on Product Management
  • Expertise in defining user/buyer personas, translating user/buyer needs and decision criteria into actionable plans
  • Expertise in one or more Agile Product Development tools (i.e. Aha, Rally) used to track and report product development ideas, features, stories and metrics
  • Exposure on design thinking, consumer journey mapping, and understanding on the power of advanced tech - Cyber Security, AI, ML, NLP, etc.
  • Proven ability to identify, facilitate, and build business solution from inception to launch, along with appropriate technical competency & expertise, to ensure business value and planned outcomes. Lead largely by influence and thrive in a hierarchy of expertise
  • Proven great communication, documentation, and presentation skills, and positive energy
  • Proven to be a strategic thinker with the ability to offer ideas that will facilitate product maturity within an organization
  • Proven organizational skills with customer empathy and ability to work with ambiguity and changing priorities
