Senior Technical Manager – Microsoft Azure & .NET (Hands-on Technical Leadership)

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Manager who combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting and client engagement skills. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, leading engineering teams by example, and partnering directly with enterprise clients to drive cloud transformation initiatives.
This is not a pure people management role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable contributing technically while mentoring teams and influencing architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise applications built on Microsoft Azure and .NET.
- Stay hands-on with architecture reviews, solution design, code reviews, technical problem-solving, and engineering best practices.
- Drive cloud modernization initiatives using Azure services and cloud-native architecture.
- Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges, ask the right questions, validate assumptions, and recommend scalable technology solutions.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams while fostering technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with business, delivery, and leadership teams on solutioning, estimations, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure delivery quality through technical governance, architecture reviews, and engineering standards.
- Promote modern engineering practices including DevOps, CI/CD, AI-assisted development, and continuous improvement.

- Strong development experience in:
- .NET Core / .NET 6+
- ASP.NET Core
- C#
- REST APIs
- Microservices Architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development or OpenAI-based solutions is a plus.
