We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Leadto join our Software Stack team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and integration of LTE Protocol Stack and advanced Open RAN solutions. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative software solutions for our Virtual Base Band Unit (vBBU) product.What you need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in telecom software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
- Deep understanding of LTE/LTE-A protocol stack and Open RAN architecture
- Experience with virtualization technologies and VRAN deployment models
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and agile development environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with 5G NR stack and O-RAN specifications
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles or support engineering
Key responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and integration of LTE Advanced features andprotocol stack optimizations for Open RAN vBBU
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the software access stack team
- Conduct thorough code reviewsto ensure code quality, maintainability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including:
- FQG and RQG QA teamsfor feature verification, test case planning, and execution
- PHY and Platform teamsfor seamless integration and performance tuning
- PLM and System Architecture Groupfor aligning product requirements and architectural decisions
- Review and contribute to design documentsand requirements specifications
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including algorithms and system behavior
- Support customer deployments and provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies
