Meet the Team
The Cisco Wireless Feature & System Engineering team builds end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms. We design features that span device software, control planes, and management systems to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi.
Your Impact
You will define and drive the technical vision for full-stack wireless systems, owning both development and validation strategy across AP, controller, and management platforms.
In This Role
- Define long-term architecture for end-to-end wireless systems and validation strategies
- Lead large-scale initiatives across development, testing, and system integration
- Drive innovation in enterprise wireless features, quality, and reliability
- Establish best practices for automation, test coverage, and system validation
- Influence product direction and align cross-functional teams
- Drive AI-native development and testing workflows across teams
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in wireless systems and networking
- Deep expertise in enterprise Wi-Fi, security, and system architecture
- Strong experience in both development and large-scale system validation
- Proven track record delivering high-quality, complex systems
- Strong leadership across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience with:
- Advanced roaming and mobility optimization
- Mesh networking and distributed systems
- Spectrum intelligence and RF analytics
- QoS, scheduling, and traffic optimization
- Location services and telemetry systems
- Security including WPA3, Zero Trust, and PQC readiness
