Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Denodo Administrator to manage and support Denodo environments across Dev, UAT, and Prod, ensuring high availability and performance. The role involves installation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning of Denodo components. The candidate will handle L3/L4 support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries and caching. You will also manage security, user access, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong expertise in Denodo, SQL, Linux, and cloud platforms is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Denodo environments across Development, UAT, and Production.
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of Denodo platform components.
- Oversee and maintain Denodo components including Virtual DataPort, Scheduler, Monitor, and Solution Manager.
- Provide L3/L4 support by handling incidents, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and managing escalations.
- Monitor platform health, ensure system stability, and optimize query performance.
- Manage caching strategies, deployments, migrations, and release processes.
- Configure and enforce security, including LDAP/AD integration and user access management.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, scheduler, and integration-related issues.
- Support governance frameworks, monitoring practices, and maintain operational runbooks.
- Collaborate effectively with data engineering, BI, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in Denodo Administration with strong platform management expertise.
- Solid experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of data virtualization solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database connectivity concepts across diverse data sources.
- Hands-on experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Good understanding of security frameworks, including LDAP/SSO integration and access management.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Good to Have
- Denodo Certification.
- Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, Informatica, or data governance tools.
- CI/CD and automation exposure.
