Senior Technical Lead & Backend Platform Engineer

Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in hands-on technical leadership

We are hiring a senior technical lead to own backend architecture, cloud infrastructure and production reliability. You will write production code, establish engineering standards and work closely with our project manager and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design scalable backend services, secure REST APIs and PostgreSQL data models.
• Build reliable background processing with retries and failure handling.
• Implement authentication, authorization and third-party integrations.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, backups and recovery.
• Review code, guide technical decisions and maintain engineering documentation.

Requirements:
• Strong TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS or comparable backend framework experience.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, Redis and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on AWS, Docker, Terraform and GitHub Actions experience.
• Proven ability to take applications from development to production.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and independent ownership.
