Job Description

Job Summary:

Design and buildscalable data pipelines using Snowflake dbt and Prophecy to prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with analysts and client teams totranslate reporting requirementsinto efficient data models, views, and BI-ready tables.
Integrate multiple structured and semi-structured investment data sources intocentralized analytical datasetsfor dashboards and reports.
Develop and maintainbusiness intelligence solutions(PRISM, GoodData) — from building datasets to creating clear, insightful visualizations.
Ensurereporting accuracyby implementing data validation checks, quality frameworks, and governance standards.
Partner with product, project management, and architecture teams to align data infrastructure with reporting objectives.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in AWS.
Documentdata schemas, transformation logic, and reporting workflowsfor transparency and knowledge sharing.
Continuously enhance reporting capabilities by leveraging emerging tools, automation, and improved data delivery methods.
Serve as areporting subject matter expert, ensuring that stakeholders fully understand and can act on the data presented.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data engineering, analytics, computer science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
2+ years working indata engineering or analytics engineering roleswith a strong focus on reporting deliverables.
Strong proficiency in SQL (including performance tuning) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
Experience withSnowflakeanddbt/Prophecyfor data ingestion, transformation, and modeling for reports.
Understanding of database design and data warehouse principles
Client-centric mindset
Proven experience building reports and dashboards inTableau, Power BI, GoodData, or similar BI platforms.
Knowledge ofdata warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and best practices for reporting datasets.
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) for hosting and optimizing reporting pipelines.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python preferred; Java, Scala, VBA, etc. a plus).
Understanding ofdata governance and compliance requirementsin financial or investment contexts.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
High attention to detail, with a commitment to deliveringaccurate and actionable reporting.
