We are seeking an experienced Retail Application Developer with strong Visual Basic programming skills and expertise in AWS, ETL processes, and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and supporting applications within the retail industry, preferably in a multi-channel environment encompassing stores, e-commerce, and other sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Visual Basic technologies.
- Develop and support ETL processes to facilitate data integration and transformation across multiple systems.
- Work with AWS cloud services to build, deploy, and support scalable solutions.
- Integrate and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and related business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process and technology enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in Visual Basic (VB/VB.NET) application development.
- Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based application environments.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Experience supporting or integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Strong SQL and database development skills.
- Experience in application troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
Domain Experience
- Proven experience as a developer within the Retail industry.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and systems.
- Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment, including stores, e-commerce, and omnichannel operations.
- Exposure to inventory management, order management, merchandising, pricing, promotions, or customer-facing retail systems is preferred.

- Experience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of retail data architecture and reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of application development experience.
- Relevant experience in Visual Basic, AWS, ETL, Oracle EBS, and retail application development.
