Responsibilities
- List business requirements and translate them into User Stories with detailed information for the team
- Create comprehensive functional requirements as User Stories and prioritize them for Backlog grooming and Sprint Planning
- Engage with clients and business stakeholders to elicit requirements and propose feasible functional solutions
- Support acceptance testing and obtain client buy-in while managing conflicts effectively
- Facilitate estimation sessions using various techniques and explain requirements at sprint and release levels
- Ensure transparency of release timelines, features, and scope by creating relevant documentation and confluence references
- Handle continuous scope changes considering business and technical priorities using prioritization techniques
- Capture and maintain documentation such as BRD, FSD/FDN/FRD, and SRS using tools like Word, Excel, Confluence, or TFS
- Manage partner UATs and review QA artifacts to ensure quality deliverables
- Work across multiple teams and functions to maintain alignment and communication
- Clearly communicate requirement ambiguities, dependencies, scope issues, and challenges to stakeholders
- Rephrase requirement discussions and interview questions to confirm understanding based on facts
- Act as a liaison between development teams and business partners to facilitate effective collaboration
- Maintain a trusted advisor role with clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years experience in Business Analysis within Agile frameworks such as SCRUM, Kanban, and SAFe
- Strong experience as a liaison between development teams and business partners
- Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders for requirements elicitation and acceptance testing
- Proficiency with multiple estimation techniques for sprint and release planning
- Ability to ensure transparency of release timelines, features, and scope for product owners and development managers
- Experience managing continuous scope changes using prioritization techniques
- Proven skills in capturing requirements and maintaining documentation such as BRD, FRD, and SRS using tools like Confluence and TFS
- Experience handling partner UATs and reviewing QA artifacts
- Experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment
- Strong communication skills to clarify requirement ambiguities and dependencies
- Experience in leading business domains such as Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or Ecommerce
- Strong problem-solving skills to manage scope and timeline challenges
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
