Manage and deliver Technical Variance responses and outputs within defined cost, quality, and timelines. Perform technical execution and approve documentation as a Competent Author. Analyze technical data and recommend solutions, including technical publication changes. Ensure compliance with aerospace documentation standards and safety/reliability requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers to ensure clarity and accuracy. Exercise engineering judgment to identify Safety, Reliability, and Cost issues and provide solutions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline. Experience: 5-14 years in aero-engine technical documentation or engineering roles. Hands-on experience in technical variance management, documentation, and compliance. Certifications in AS9100, S1000D, or Reliability Engineering are a plus. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Aero Engine modules, parts, and terminology. Expertise in technical documentation standards (e.g., S1000D, AS9100). Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical publications. Familiarity with DFMEA / PFMEA, safety analysis, and reliability engineering. Excellent communication and networking skills for stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
