Job Description
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of technical I.T. infrastructure or operations experience.
- Minimum 4 years experience in an Infrastructure architect role
- In-depth knowledge in WAN transport systems/services, Telecommunications systems/service, LAN switch technology (including Spanning tree, VTP domain management), routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4) & Software-Defined technology (SD-WAN)
- Proven ability to manage a multi-vendor WAN, multi-protocol routing, including but not limited to NHRP, EIGRP, BPG4, OSPF and RIPv2.
- Strong hands-on experience on Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco Nexus switches, Classic switches, Cisco ISR G2/ASR routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco WAN Optimizers, Cisco Autonomous/Lightweight Access Points & Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
- Hands-on experience on Multi-vendor hardware like Checkpoint firewalls, BIG IP F5 load balancers & Proxy hardware.
- Hands-on experience in some of or all following areas: VSS, Data Centre Technologies, HSRP, QoS, VoIP (Cisco/Avaya), DMVPN, SSL VPN/Ipsec VPN, Wireless technologies, DHCP management, Firewall skills, IPS/IDS, Internet proxy, F5 load balancers, WAAS, WCCP, MPLS services framework & Cisco Tele-presence hardware.
- Experience on Software-Defined technology (SD-WAN & SD-LAN) vendor products like VIPTELA, Versa, Velo Cloud, Aryaka, Cisco Meraki and etc
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in an efficient manner.
- WAN Transformation experience and large-scale hands-on experience with multiple network transformations required
- Hands-on experience on Multi-vendor Firewall, IDS/IPS, Load Balancer hardware like Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, F5, NetScaler & etc
- Testing and cutover support Development of NGFW features including URL Filtering, Threat Prevention, and SSL decryption features Tuning and optimization of NGFW features
- Experience with F5/Citrix NetScaler/other load balancing platforms, must have Deployment/configuration/administration experience
- Understanding of Python/Bash scripting and Ansible
- Knowledge with network analysis tools, such as, Wireshark and TCPDump and SCP
- Experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting VPN tunnels (IPSec, SSL, Point to Point)
- Must have production environment experience consisting of Global load balancing, Local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression / caching, and DNS
- Proven experience of LAN/WAN/Security design & implementation experience; completing projects wing2wing from planning>design>implementation.
- Demonstrated excellence in communications, presentation and customer focus skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical and project leadership for complex data center, Campus and wide area network projects driving continuous improvement, the adaption of virtualization/automation, and a security approach.
- Drives the creation of the infrastructure architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture.
- Defines infrastructure architecture standards that are in-line with customer, IT and industry best practices.
- Participates with peers and executive management in defining the network strategy
- Prepares and Present technical requirements and specifications
- Interface with Vendors regarding evaluation, implementation, and support of deployed network gear.
- Research and define three to five year roadmap and strategy related to various aspects of the Infrastructure network.
