Senior Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Java, modern microservices architecture, and event-driven systems using Kafka. The ideal candidate will have exposure to cloud platforms, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise-scale applications.
• Lead architecture and design decisions across Java
• Define and implement microservices-based architectures with high scalability and resilience.
• Architect and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Ensure system performance, security, availability, and compliance with banking standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with business, product, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and migration initiatives.
• Review code, design artifacts, and ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions, client interactions, and architecture reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• Architect-level experience with Java and application development.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience working in the banking or financial services domain (Not must)
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of system integration, scalability, and security.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native patterns.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Architecture certifications or cloud certifications are a plus.

Experience Level

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in a Technical Architect role.
