As a Senior Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and develop software applications that meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Lead technical projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software development.
- Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster skill development.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure system reliability.
- Continuously improve software development processes and practices to enhance team productivity.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
- Architect with extensive experience doing Solution Architecture and Design
- Able to navigate and understand both Engineering and product landscapes and propose suitable solutions
- Technology agnostic - should be able to deliver Engineering solutions (be it java app, .net app, webservice build/integrations, COTS products, etc..)
- Ability to work with pre-sales and client teams , so needs to have Excellent communication skills
- Needs to have good attitude, and should be dedicated, as till the solution is formulated things will be in flux and he/she cannot be bogged down with incomplete requirements/un-approved designs
