Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for internal R&D (IRAD) initiatives focused on AI/ML-driven mission platforms
- Architect and design LLM-enabled systems, including agent-based workflows and structured output pipelines
- Lead development of scalable solutions leveraging multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with secure, compliant architectures
- Design and implement data integration pipelines, enabling ingestion, orchestration, and visualization of multi-source datasets
- Develop technical solutions that integrate with existing government systems and mission platforms
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and IL2–IL4 security requirements, including RBAC and secure API frameworks
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, including architecture reviews, DevSecOps alignment, and system validation
- Translate operational requirements into technical solutions through collaboration with mission stakeholders and end users
- Support demonstrations, testing events, and capability validation (e.g., exercises, prototypes)
- Oversee development of documentation, training materials, and user adoption strategies
- Identify opportunities for innovation, intellectual property development, and capability differentiation
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or platform development
- 5+ years in a technical lead or architect role supporting complex systems
- Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering and AI workflows
- Strong experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) and secure deployment environments
- Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and API development
- Proficiency in Python and modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar)
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, D3.js)

- Experience supporting DoD, IC, or Combatant Command environments
- Familiarity with information operations, OIE, or influence operations
- Experience with geospatial data and visualization (ArcGIS, GeoJSON, etc.)
- Understanding of advanced analytics, simulation models, or decision-support tools
- Experience working in classified or controlled environments (IL2–IL6)
