Quanted is looking to hire a highly motivatedTech Leadwho can wear multiple hats: architect, hands-on builder, mentor, and pragmatic problem-solver. You'll partner closely with the CTO to design and ship secure, high-performance services (Python/FastAPI), manage Linux (Debian-based) environments, tune Nginx, and lead a small, high-impact dev team. You'll also guide how we apply LLMs and RAG to real product needs while respecting strict on-prem, no-data-exfil constraints.
What You'll Do:
- Own architecture and delivery of backend services and internal tooling (Python, FastAPI), from design to production reliability.
- Administer and hardenDebian-basedLinux systems; configure and optimizeNginxfor API gateways, routing, and performance.
- Build robust data processing pipelines leveragingpandas,NumPy,SciPy, and related libraries.
- Design, deploy, and evaluateLLMandRAGfeatures for search, summarization, and workflow accelerationgrounded in real customer constraints.
- Lead and grow a small engineering team: set standards, run reviews, mentor, and coordinate delivery.
- Champion security and on-prem architecture patterns that keep client data on their servers (no external operability).
- Ship under pressure: break down ambiguous goals, communicate trade-offs, and deliver incremental value fast.

- Nginxconfiguration (reverse proxying, TLS, caching, rate limiting).
- Strong hands-on withpandas,NumPy,SciPy, and the broader scientific Python stack.
- Demonstrated,productionexperience withLLMsandRAGsystems (evaluation, grounding, retrieval pipelines, vector stores or alternatives).
- Experienceleading a small dev team(planning, reviews, mentorship, hiring signals).
- Proventeam playerwho communicates clearly and thrives under pressure.

- Secure,on-premdeployments and data-at-rest/in-transit protections aligned with enterprise constraints.
- High speed NO-SQL databases (e.g., LMDB), high-throughput data processing, and performance profiling.
- Containers/CI-CD (Docker, GitHub Actions), infra-as-code (Terraform).
- Experience with vector DBs or retrieval alternatives.
