Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager HR Business Partner

In this role you will lead the development and execution of HR strategies for a defined business unit by aligning HR initiatives to organizational goals and providing strategic HR support. You will focus on HR analytics, compensation management, succession planning, talent attraction and retention, and hiring strategies to enable business growth and build organizational capability in line with HR strategy, industry best practices, and current legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to and lead implementation of HR strategies and policies to translate current/future business needs and challenges into effective HR plans for a defined organization
  • Drive strategic HR initiatives including succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational development
  • Guide and consult senior business leaders on HR matters with a balanced focus on strategic and operational HR activities
  • Lead HR analytics to provide actionable insights on workforce trends, talent gaps, and predictive hiring needs
  • Develop and implement compensation and reward strategies that ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Build a high-performance culture through programs that recognize and reward critical skills, capabilities, experience, and performance
  • Design and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies, including employer branding and hiring for niche roles
  • Ensure HR policies comply with statutory regulations and reflect internal and external best practices
  • Manage vendor/service relationships and service level agreements for HR services (e.g., outsourced payroll, recruitment partners)
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve risks or issues to lead successful deployment of HR plans and policies
  • Monitor deployment of HR strategies and achievement of sub-functional goals to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement and adapt HR processes to better suit the needs of the defined organization.

Stakeholders:

  • Communicate and influence senior business leaders outside of own job area to accept practices and approaches
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across DHL
  • Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g., external service providers
  • May lead negotiations

Management Responsibility:

  • Manage a department or a small unit that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leader

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate (Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in any discipline; Master's preferred)
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to strategic HRBP roles
  • Proven experience in HR analytics, compensation management, succession planning, talent strategy, and organizational change
  • Previous experience partnering with senior management & executive leadership in complex environments (multi-country/customers)
  • Team leadership medium-sized teams
  • Experience implementing diverse and high-impact HR initiatives to support organizational objectives
  • Excellent influencing, leadership, and communication skills particularly within matrix-style organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner
  • Prior budget management experience
  • Proven experience leading deployment of complex organizational change
