Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer with strong expertise in Power BI to design, develop, and deliver advanced business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data visualization, dashboard optimization, data modelling, and performance tuning across multiple BI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.
- Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Build and maintain data models, calculations, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
- Integrate BI tools with data sources like Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server, GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security in reporting environments.
- Support migration, enhancement, or modernization of existing BI platforms.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and BI governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of total experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Power BI.
- Expertise in SQL and strong understanding of data modelling, ETL concepts, and data warehouse design.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and present insights in a clear, visual manner.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, parameters, calculations, and LOD expressions in Tableau.
- Experience in Power BI DAX, Power Query, and workspace management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tableau and/or Power BI certification (Desktop Specialist, Data Analyst, etc.)
- Experience with Python / R for data visualization or analytics integration.
- Exposure to Agile methodology and version control tools like Git.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
