We are looking for
Senior Tableau Developer.
Before our software developers write even a single line of code, they have to understand what drives our customers. What is the environment What is the user story based on Implementation means trying, testing, and improving outcomes until a final solution emerges. Knowledge means exchange discussions with colleagues from all over the world.
Join our Digitalization Technology and Services (DTS) team based in Gurgaon.
You'll make a difference by:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Building advanced visualizations using LOD Expressions, table calculations, parameters, filters, etc.
- Optimizing dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Publishing, scheduling, and managing dashboards on Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud.
- Ensuring dashboards align with best practices in data visualization and storytelling
- Working with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting and KPI requirements.
- Translating business needs into actionable BI solutions and analytical models.
- Validating data flows and ensure consistent, accurate, and reliable reporting.
- Supporting the creation of standardized BI frameworks, metrics, and data definitions.
- Collaborating with data engineering and ETL teams to develop smooth data pipelines for reporting.
Job requirements/ skills:
- Expert in developing innovative and complex dashboards in Tableau.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
- Proficiency in MS List, SQL and data manipulation using Alteryx.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of databases like Snowflake, and Oracle.
- Extensive experience in writing complex database queries using SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and presenting data, dashboards, and analysis to the management team with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts
Good to Have:
- Tableau certification such as Desktop Specialist/Professional.
- Working experience in Agile methodologies.
- Experience with other BI tools like Power BI.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Snowflake know how
- Experience in the Finance domain.
- Data security and handling expertise.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT
