Your Impact OR Responsibilities:
Key Responsibility statement:
- Support ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery) to maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration data in CMDB.
- Assist in managing CMDB data by maintaining CI relationships and ensuring data consistency.
- Collaborate with teams to implement basic CMDB and ITOM configurations as per requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting for Discovery, CMDB data issues, and related integrations.
Outcomes-based statement:
- Improve CMDB data accuracy, enabling better visibility and informed decision-making.
- Enhance infrastructure discovery coverage, resulting in more reliable configuration data.
- Reduce data inconsistencies through proper CI management and governance practices.
- Ensure smoother IT operations by resolving CMDB and Discovery-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in ServiceNow with exposure to CMDB and ITOM (Discovery).
- Basic understanding of CMDB data model, CI relationships, and Discovery concepts.
- Familiarity with MID Server setup, integrations, and basic scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred, with good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
