Iron Mountain is seeking a vision-driven Senior MFT Engineer to join our Global Product Engineering team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in architecting and optimizing our GlobalScape Managed File Transfer infrastructure to keep critical data moving securely across our global network. You'll have the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges and modernize automated file workflows, directly protecting the trusted data foundation our enterprise customers rely on every day. Here, your file transfer expertise will help streamline operations and support our ongoing digital transformation.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:
- GlobalScape Administration: Independently administer, maintain, and optimize the GlobalScape EFT application to ensure seamless managed file transfers.
- System Upgrades & Lifecycle: Lead independent upgrades of GlobalScape EFT, ensuring system performance, scalability, and security enhancements.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2 file transmission issues to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
- Automation & Scripting: Integrate PowerShell and VB scripts within GlobalScape Event Rules to automate processes and reduce manual interventions.
- Security & Compliance Management: Automate SOX compliance reporting, manage SSH and PGP keys for encryption, and coordinate with infrastructure teams to resolve connectivity and port-blocking issues.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience in MFT application support and secure file transfer protocols.
- Strong knowledge of GlobalScape EFT (version 8.1.*) and protocols including SSH/SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and VB scripting for process automation in large enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, Active Directory, SQL, and cloud platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
