At DHL Group, we are committed to safeguarding our digital assets and maintaining the integrity of our Linux and Windows server environments. As a key member of our Infrastructure Security Server Platform SecOps team, you will play a critical role in advancing Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities, enforcing strong privileged access controls, and ensuring strict adherence to security policies and compliance standards.

You will focus on implementing and operating privileged access governance, including least privilege enforcement, access reviews, session monitoring, and integration of PAM solutions across server platforms. A core part of your role will involve maintaining and enforcing security baselines aligned with internal policies and industry standards, ensuring continuous compliance across Linux and Windows environments.

In addition, you will drive platform security hardening initiatives, support vulnerability remediation in alignment with risk and compliance requirements, and ensure audit readiness by maintaining proper controls, documentation, and evidence. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and application teams to embed security policies into operational processes and strengthen overall platform governance.

Last but not least, security technologies associated with Containers (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift) and public cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform are all in your support league.

As a Senior Platform Security Engineer, you bring strong proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration, with hands-on experience in securing enterprise server environments. Solid knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and privileged access controls is highly valued.

You possess practical experience in platform security operations, including system hardening, secure configuration management, vulnerability remediation, patch governance, and compliance enforcement aligned with industry standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, internal security baselines). Familiarity with identity and access controls, audit logging, and policy enforcement across Linux and Windows platforms is essential.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as MicrosoftAzure or AWS, as well as container technologies, is advantageous-particularly in relation to access control, security configuration, and compliance alignment in hybrid environments.

Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Python) is a significant advantage and will greatly contribute to your effectiveness in delivering secure and scalable platform operations.

You are passionate about security and possess a strong understanding of the evolving threat landscape and platform vulnerabilities. You are able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage tasks under pressure.
