JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position title: Senior System Specialist
Location: Chennai
Work Schedule: General Shift, 5 days a week
NOTE- (Female Candidates preferred)
Experience- 8-10 years
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with domain experts and architects to design software solutions.
- Work within teams to develop efficient and dependable software applications, encompassing full-stack development: database, backend services, and client applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within mission-critical site systems.
- Attain the status of a subject matter expert in relevant software technologies.
What You Bring:
- Design, development, and maintenance of complex software systems.
- Development and maintenance of TCP/IP-based communication drivers for interfacing with PLCs or similar devices and other applications utilizing industrial communication protocols.
- Object-oriented programming.
- .NET Framework and C#.
- Relational databases, with a preference for MS SQL.
- Strong debugging skills, including:
- Process dump analysis (memory leaks, deadlocks, etc.) using WinDebug or similar tools.
- Packet analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
- Code documentation expertise.
- Advantages include:
- Familiarity with C++/C# codebase for drivers in various industrial protocols used to interface with different programmable logic controllers (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, OPC DA). Experience with C++ applications is advantageous.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (ModbusTCP, Ethernet/IP, etc.) specifications and implementation.
- Basic knowledge of industrial networking.
- Knowledge of PLC programming.
- Cybersecurity awareness
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the development and maintenance of communication drivers, using industry communication protocols.
